About
Counselling that begins where your life already is.
Ganga.ca is the practice of a Registered Social Worker / Registered Clinical Social Worker offering multicultural counselling and social-work consultation to South Asian communities in Canada.
Why this practice exists
Many South Asian families in Canada carry two lives at once: the one they built here and the one they left. Counselling often asks them to explain the second before they can talk about the first.
Ganga.ca removes that step. Sessions start from a shared understanding of family duty, migration, community expectation and the practical grind of settling in a new country — so the hour is spent on you, not on background.
Work here is culturally responsive but not religious. Everyone is welcome regardless of faith, caste, region, language, gender or who they love.
Professional standing
Services are provided by a Registered Social Worker / Registered Clinical Social Worker (RSW / RCSW), under Canadian social work regulation, with confidentiality that matters especially in close communities.
Counselling is available in English, Hindi, Nepali, Maithili, Bhojpuri and Bihari, with an understanding of Punjabi and Urdu.
Alongside counselling, social-work consultation offers something many families need just as much: help understanding Canadian social and community services, and finding the right support at the right time.
