South Asian mental health support

Anxiety, depression and grief look different when they are wrapped in duty, migration and family expectation. Support that starts from that reality.

Online in Alberta, Ontario and BC; in person in Edmonton. Sessions take place online, subject to applicable professional and regulatory requirements.

Areas of support

Sessions are practical and paced to what you can manage.

  • Anxiety, low mood, depression and burnout
  • Loneliness, isolation and culture shock after moving
  • Family and intergenerational conflict
  • Marriage, relationship and in-law pressures
  • Parenting between two cultures
  • Grief, loss and major life transitions

If you are in crisis

Counselling is not an emergency service. If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, call 911, or call or text 988 for the Suicide Crisis Helpline in Canada.

Not sure where to start?

Not sure what kind of help you need?

That's completely okay. A social work consultation is a calm, no-pressure way to figure out what would actually help — and what resources already exist for you.
